SUSAN LOCKER

Susan started her dance training at age four with her mother, Dotty Locker. As a child and adolescent, Susan appeared in television commercials and worked as a professional model while still advancing her dance training. Susan continued her lessons with Dotty and also training with some of the finest New York coaches--Luigi, Charles Kelly, Don Fonsworth, Madam Gilmore, and others. After graduating from high school, Susan became one of the world-famous New York City Rockettes, toured with U.S.O. shows, and appeared with many popular singing groups. She appeared on television in such shows as Kraft Music Hall, the Bob Hope Show, and the Smothers Brothers Show. Susan decided to unpack her suitcase after meeting Albert, her husband to be, and joined her mother at the studio to take up her first love, teaching dance.

Susan now enjoys being the Directress of her own studio and thrives on the challenges and rewards of running it. She gains great personal satisfaction in teaching her students, tots through seniors, and as producer of the annual grand production. Her real reward comes as she watches her students shine as they perform on the stage each year.

Miss Susan just completed her twenty-eighth year as owner and artistic directress of the Locker School.

MARY LOU CIPOLLA

Miss MaryLou is very happy and proud to have been a part of the Locker Family for the past twenty-nine years. Miss MaryLou's credits include the roles of Diana Morales in the Broadway Production of a Chorus Line and Sue in the Coolest Cat in Town at New York City Center. She also appeared in West Side Story, Oklahoma, Kiss Me Kate and the Blackstone’s Magic Show. Miss MaryLou was on faculty of the Broadway Dance Center, N.Y.C. where Miss Susan met her and enticed her to teach at the Studio.

LARA LOCKER COYLE

Miss Lara returned to teaching at the Studio after the birth of her first child, Mackenzie Lynn, now seven.  Mackenzie, to her grandma's delight, is following in her mother's footstepts.  Mackenzie's little sister, Chelsea Lauren, turned four in August, is her grandparent's second love, and we hope will follow in her grandmother's and mother's footsteps.  Miss Lara began dancing at the Studio at the age of two.

At a young age, she appeared in numerous commercials, live shows, a soap opera, and films.  We are glad she is teaching at the Studio bringing her love of dancing, her enthusiasm, and her interaction with her students.  It shows in her routines and her students love her.

JENNIFER HINSINSER

Miss Jennifer began dancing at the Locker School in 1994 and has excelled in her dancing.  Ten years ago, Miss Jennifer began assisting Miss Susan and now is teaching her own tap class as well as continuing to assist Miss Susan.  She is working as a hairdresser while continuing her dance education at the Locker Shool.  She has become a Miss Susan clone

KAROLINA KOZIOL

Miss Karolina is Miss Susan's assistant began dancing at the Locker School in 2013, and she continues with her dancing at the School.  She has blossomed into an excellent dancer as well as an all-around-aide at the School.  We are glad she is a part of the Locker Family.

JAMIE LYNN FRANCE

Miss Jamie Lynn, Miss MaryLou's teaching assistant, began dancing at the Locker School in 1996.  She recently graduated from Stockton University with a degree in Public Health.  After being away at college for four years, she returned to the Studio last year to continue her dance education.  We are so excited that she has joined the Locker staff.
